yesterday's duty for open house was inside the trading room for me. i'm considered lucky as my duty wasnt anything much. there was aircon, and i just had to give out brochures and used the walkie talkie to talk occassionally. we had to put on this LOL badge too, which apparently costs 6bucks :x however, i had to listen to this talk by this lecturer for numerous times! he is reknowned for his naggy long speeches. bt i have to say, he sure is enthusiastic ;) even some of the SMART students can memorise what he mentions in his talk, lol.

how many banks are there in singapore? more than 300. he then takes out a thick book, and gets those students to check. sounds like some magic trick. how many employees are there in uob? more than 15,000! 66floor building. each level has 300. there is not only plaza1, bt plaza 2 and other branches. he also goes abt showing where the banks are in singapore. at a very accessible place where cool pple eat lunch at lau pa sat. from benjamin sheares bridge, to anson road, tanjong pagar, and it's even expanding to the marina area! there are decent teachers tooo. he then whips out his newspaper articles w a picture of him in the front as evidence. he even tries "bluffing" the students that that's his bro >.<

oki! enough of the lecturer, hehee. the 4hrs past quite quickly! wheee, thanks for accompanying me tooo! (:


went over to my daddy's friend's house after that. we had home cooked food and some wine. i gave up after 2 mouths ;p talked ard the table, then his son showed us pics on the tv, which was hooked up to a computer. cooool. they were taken during his stay in the states! very prettyyyy scenery! he went on lots of road trips to national parks etc. we also saw a vid of him skydiving. super cooool tooo! bt i cant imagine how petrified i'll be if i were at the edge of the plane, ready to dive down, hehee. the family played good hosts! :D


met marcus today! his bus was faster than expected and i was shocked. so i hurriedly got my daddy to fetch me to anchorpoint and he was at the bus stop! 2nd shock. i tot he will still be over at ikea! hehee ;) ikea had comfy furniture! noww, i want to change my bed! :P we took pics of flying turtle which will be passed over to amanda and austin sooon. amanda is sooo sweet-looking! after that, we went to get my contacts at queensway and he chose purple! apart from my usual grey. i wonder how it will turn out. i shall wait till tml morn to try! went over to wiwo after that. my 3rd home! bt i realised that i've yet to discover lots of new stores ;x luckily, i managed to see some of them today! had thai express for dinner. wanted to have baked rice, bt the swensens at vivo had a diff menu :( we shall go to a normal swensens to have our baked rice soooon! and thanks for yan yan! hehee, i saw on the box that there are fun lines of animals on the biscuits too? looks fun and yumm! <3
